Wildspitz trilogy is a 3 stage mountain
bike sportive taking place in the Cantons of Zug and Schwyz, Switzerland.
On the highest point of the Rossberg – the
Wildspitz – the views are unequalled. The valley basin of Schwyz lies at your
feet with Lake Lauerz; to the north Zugerland with Lakes Zug and Ägeri. Whether
you go on foot or by bike to the Wildspitz, the incredible views never fail to
amaze tourists and locals alike. There are footpaths from every direction and
well-signposted routes lead from Zug, Oberwil, Walchwil, Unterägeri, Sattel or
Steinerberg directly up to the Wildspitz.
The event starts in Unterägeri the
Wildspitzstrasse to Goldau. The second stage leading from Goldau the
Wildspitzstrasse to Walchwil and finally you go back to the wild of Walchwil
pointed back to Unterägeri. This gives about 60km and just over 3000Hm.
